Elba Rosato

DOP

Rosé

Elba Rosato DOC is crafted from carefully cultivated Sangiovese grapes on the estate’s clay-iron-rich soils. After a cold maceration on the skins, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and slow fermentation at controlled temperatures. This rosé displays a cherry-pink color with violet highlights. On the nose, it reveals an aromatic bouquet of wild strawberries and raspberries. On the palate, it is balanced and fresh, with a pleasant persistence and a slight tannic finish. Ideal alongside cured meats, roast meats, and grilled pork, Elba Rosato DOC also pairs perfectly with summer dishes like fresh salads and savory tarts.
